Locally produced and newly launched interactive web series Verdict puts justice in the hands of the masses – for good or for ill

“It really belongs on the web,” says Tammy Marlowe Johnson of her newly launched interactive web series. On second thought, she makes that even more emphatic: “It HAS to live on the web.”
Shot over an economical five days in Manitoba and debuting online last week, Verdict is the brainchild of local filmmaker and TV writer Marlowe, and was inspired by her years as court reporter for the Winnipeg Sun. Set in an alternate world in which popular uprising has led to a public takeover of the justice system, the series imagines a society wherein there is only one court of any consequence — that of public opinion.

I still think that she is guilty. But it was the fault of the prosecution that did not show the proof to connect that little child's death to her mother. But I do think that Casey Anthony got away with murder
